POWER AND COOLING
Console Not Turning On, Overheating or Shutting Down?
We assess PS4, PS5 and Xbox power and overheating faults before recommending repair work. The symptoms help us choose the checks; they do not identify a failed component on their own.
Some fan noise during a demanding game is normal. Repeated heat warnings or shutdowns deserve attention. Turn the console off, allow it to cool and keep its vents clear in a ventilated space. If the problem returns, bring it for assessment rather than repeatedly restarting it. Do not open the power supply or attempt internal electrical repairs.
